We use a soft tissue laser for periodontal therapy and gum recontouring. In periodontal therapy, the laser removes periodontal disease and damaged tissue so the mouth can regenerate healthy soft tissue, free of disease. For cosmetic gum reshaping, the soft tissue laser removes excessive gum tissue to reveal a fuller smile. Both therapies are minimally invasive, patients have little to no recovery period, and no sutures are required. We can also use the soft tissue laser for oral cancer biopsies when necessary.
