Dr. Doug Bauer
Dr. Bauer received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Dakota and then went on to earn his DDS from the University of Minnesota. He completed an intensive, year long general practice residency at the University of Minnesota, distinguishing himself among less than 2 percent of practicing dentists who complete residencies. Dr. Bauer shared his passion for dentistry as an instructor at the crown and bridge clinic at the University of Minnesota for nine years. Keenly aware that there is always more to learn, Dr. Bauer continues his studies and has completed more than 1,000 hours of continuing education, including the University of Minnesota Advanced Program in Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Bauer started his private practice in Eagan in 1980, then moved to his current location in 2004. He is a proud member of the following organizations:

Dr. Bauer enjoys being involved in the community, including coaching youth sports, providing dental care through charitable organizations, and sponsoring a scholarship for dental hygiene at a state university.
Dr Bauer was married for 30 years to Glenda, who was an administrator and teacher at Shannon Park Elementary School in Rosemount. She passed away from colon cancer in 2007. Dr. Bauer has two daughters. Mari graduated from the U of MN dental school and works with Dr. Bauer at Oak Cliff Dental Care. Brynn attended William Mitchell College of Law and is an attorney at Target. In his free time Dr. Bauer exercises, reads and enjoys doing home projects and some traveling.
